Sebastian Ashley knew Rupert Skellan through Mark Wainthrop and has become acquianted with Gary Kennedy and Archibald Smythe following the MacMorn affair. He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of occult matters, but is noted as being rather disturbed and eccentric.

Socialite and occult author, now a retired recluse in Hampshire due to ill-health.


Capt. Mark Wainthrop, M.A.

An occult investigator of some notoriety amongst the community over his methods who was killed in 1921 on an expedition in Greenland. He was regarded as a authoritative source on the more sinister aspects of the Mythos due to his wide reading, but this degree of knowledge had also led other investigators to question his motives and sanity.


Mrs. Estelle Westland

Nee Wainthrop and sister of Adele Wainthrop. Currently in a coma at Wainthrop Hall, with no indication of recovery.
