Tamra – Lady of Life

Tamra is the Lady of Life. All growth is her gift and she controls the natural cycle of life, death and rebirth. She is a popular deity with women and farmers. The death that Tamra offers is the natural death that causes life and is cause for celebration, rather than the cold tomb that is offered by Zalatun.

Viyala is the Lady of Love, and many often regard her and Tamra as being overlapping. However Tamra shows the calm acceptance of the cycle of life and the joy in growth and fertility. Viyala shows us the power of love and lust, and how this can be used both as a creative and a destructive force.

The symbol of Tamra is a wheel, or a leaf.

Lay Members

All girls in the high kingdom automatically become lay members of Tamra when they come of age at 14.

Farmers often also become lay members when they come of age at 16.

Tamra teaches lay members a number of useful skills around plant and animal lore.

Initiate

Initiates should have at least 50% in 5 of the cult skills, although this might be waived for exceptional candidates.
